Outbound Communications Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a bubbly, outgoing, and relationship-driven Outbound Communication Specialist to help create an unforgettable experience for brides from the very first touchpoint. In this role, you will connect with brides through calls and text messages, welcome them into their bridal journey, answer questions, build excitement for their appointment, and guide them toward the next step with warmth and confidence.

This position is not about cold calling. It is about providing concierge-style service to brides who have already shown interest in our boutique, booked an appointment, visited us, or purchased with us. Your friendly personality, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail will help brides feel cared for while supporting appointment bookings, event attendance, referrals, and overall boutique growth.

Duties

  • Make outbound calls to new bridal leads, canceled appointments, no-shows, and brides who visited but did not purchase, inviting them back with warmth, excitement, and appropriate offers.

  • Follow up with brides who have purchased their gown to encourage accessories, menswear, mother-of-the-bride, and mother-of-the-groom opportunities.

  • Place welcome calls to brides who have just booked their appointment online, helping them feel excited, prepared, and confident before their visit.

  • Conduct appointment prep calls to confirm details, answer questions, and ensure each bride knows what to expect during her bridal shopping experience.

  • Send and respond to text messages in the customer queue in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.

  • Track call outcomes, appointment bookings, follow-up notes, and conversions in the CRM system.

  • Work closely with the sales and stylist team to provide updates on bride communication, preferences, questions, and next steps.

  • Assist with outbound invitations for special boutique events, including sample sales, trunk shows, VIP events, accessory events, and other promotions.

  • Help create a personal, thoughtful, and elevated experience that makes every bride feel celebrated and supported.

Skills

  • Warm, bubbly, and enthusiastic personality with a genuine love for helping brides.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, polished, and professional tone.

  • Ability to build trust quickly and make brides feel comfortable, excited, and cared for.

  • Confidence making outbound calls and guiding conversations in a natural, helpful way.

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle questions, concerns, and objections with empathy and professionalism.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and appointment notes.

  • Comfortable using CRM software, texting platforms, phone systems, and other communication tools.

  • Ability to follow scripts while still sounding natural, warm, and authentic.

  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to stay accountable to outreach goals and follow-up tasks.

  • Previous experience in bridal, retail, hospitality, customer service, sales, receptionist work, or appointment setting is a plus.
